About the role
What you will do
- Build and shape Holy’s internal tooling and mold manufacturing capability, laying the foundation for a dedicated in-house department.
- Receive and refine CAD models together with our internal design team and translate them into manufacturable tools, fixtures, and mold components.
- Manufacture tools and molds for our proprietary process, including aluminum/steel tooling elements, 3D printed parts and their assembly to functional toolsets.
- Plan manufacturing steps and operate our CNC equipment, 3D printers and other machines to ensure precise, high-quality execution across all tooling and mold builds.
- Perform quality checks on finished tools and molds to ensure alignment with dimensional and functional requirements.
- Collaborate closely with development and production teams to refine designs, improve manufacturability, and streamline workflows.
- Contribute to establishing best practices, documentation, and workshop organization as the tooling function grows.
What we are looking for
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a “Werkzeugmechaniker/-in”, Toolmaker, Mold Maker, or have 2+ years of experience in tooling or mold manufacturing (e.g., injection molding, stamping, forming, composite molds) or in a similar field.
- You have practical experience operating CNC machines and working with precision tooling.
- You have experience with reading ISO GPS technical drawings and validating
quality requirements. - You have a familiarity of Lean Manufacturing principles and a continuous
improvement mindset. - You bring experience in mold manufacturing and enjoy building high-quality tooling components.
- Strong foundational skills in manual sanding, assembling, and maintaining
tools and molds. - You have a strong interest in 3D printing or previous exposure to additive manufacturing.
- You enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work and take pride in producing accurate, reliable tools and molds.
- You work proactively and in a structured, step-by-step manner.
- You’re curious about automation and modern manufacturing technologies.
- You collaborate well with designers, developers, and production teams.
- You feel comfortable communicating in English in an international work environment.
- PLUS: Experience with composite tooling (not required).
- PLUS: Experience with CAM software or 3D modeling tools.
